First of all, hi!

Second of all, its August?!

Third of all, lets chat a little bit about living in Maryland, shall we?

Ok, so this article pretty much sums up why its so great. But what it doesn’t talk about is the absolute insane weather situation. We can have 80 degree days randomly in December, and then on days like today, the first day of August its in the 60s, raining, and totally drab.

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

So, what to do, what to do when the weather throws us a curve ball?

Like these ones.

PB White & Milk CC Cookies

These cookies are definitely the best cure for a dreary day.  They are like a cross between your traditional peanut butter cookie and a good ol’ chocolate chip cookie! They are soft, thick, and packed with the heavenly combination of peanut butter, milk chocolate, and white chocolate. These sweet and salty flavors play off each other so well and really come together to create the perfect bite.

And I’ll tell you a secret…these cookies are incredibly amazing no matter what the weather is doing ;)

PB White & Milk CC Cookies

makes 1 1/2 dozen cookies

1/2 cup butter

6 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg + 1 egg yolk

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 cups flour

1/2 teaspoons baking soda

3/4 cups white chocolate chips

3/4 cups milk chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 325.  Line a baking sheet with non stick foil.

In a small bowl, melt the butter and peanut butter in the microwave for 45 seconds. Pour into larger mixing bowl, then stir in brown sugar and sugar. Beat in the egg, yolk, and vanilla. Next, add the flour and baking soda. Mix until thoroughly combined.  Fold in white and milk chocolate chips.

Roll cookie dough into balls and place on baking sheets.  Bake for 9-11 minutes.   Cool cookies on baking sheets for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.

Devour that deliciousness!
