BUTTERSCOTCH MILK CHOCOLATE BLONDIES.

Blondies

I’m definitely a bar girl.

Lemon bars make me beam. Naner bars make me giddy. Smores bars make me dance.

Brownies and blondies? Well they just make me extremely happy.

LIKE SO HAPPY.

Aside from my minor major froyo obsession, my dessert of choice, would always always always be a sweet little bar. Whats not to love? Bars are like the ultimate hybrid dessert. Its like you take the best part of a cookie and the best part of cake, then throw ’em together in a pan to make this insanely delicious, insanely simple sweet treat.

Blondies

Just like this one!

These blondies are tremendous. They have an amazing brown sugar, vanilla base which is amazingly dense, moist, and light all at the same time. And added to that are the contrasting, but delectable combination of butterscotch and milk chocolate. They capture that perfect blondie flavor while adding some texture, as well.

And they took barely a half hour to make. As if you needed more convincing to go bake them ;)

BUTTERSCOTCH MILK CHOCOLATE BLONDIES

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup light brown sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cups butterscotch chips

3/4 cups milk chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350. Line a 9×9 pan with non stick foil.

In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.

Stir in flour and salt until just combined. Fold in butterscotch and chocolate chips.

Pour into lined pan and bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool and devour that deliciousness!

TINA’S TIP: Wanna switch it up? Try some different combinations of chips, or even add nuts! My favorites are peanut butter chips with milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips with toasted pecans.
