The triple P!

Pineapple.

Peppers.

Pecans.

Hold up. I know what you are thinking. How do these three go together…at all? And with cream cheese? AND OLD BAY???

Um.

You probs think I’m crazy. And perhaps that is true!

But, this is another one of those times when I’m going to ask you to trust me and let your taste buds do the judging. Because I can promise they will be singing once they snag a bite of this yummy appetizer!

So, no this is not your ordinary cheese ball.

Its so much better. 

The unique combination of ingredients creates a sweet and savory, crunchy and creamy party in your mouth. Which is super convenient because this is usually served at parties ;)

So take a chance with this wild combo. You will not regret it!

TRIPLE P CHEESE BALL

16 ounces cream cheese

13 ounces crushed pineapple, drained

2 cup finely chopped pecans, divided

1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper

1 tablespoon chopped sweet onion

1 tablespoon old bay

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until soft. Stir in crushed pineapple and 1 cup pecans. Then mix in peppers, onions, old bay and black pepper.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until firm.

Place the remaining 1 cup of pecans in a shallow bowl. Form cheese mixture into a giant ball.   Roll the ball in the chopped pecans, coating the outside.

Devour that deliciousness!
